Gay, Black Professionals Urged to Join YBGLI’s Policy & Advocacy Summit!


Opportunities for networking, education, encouragement plus Louisiana cooking is enough to make (almost) anybody happy.

Black, gay, bisexual, and trans men ages 18-29 are encouraged to sign up for the Policy & Advocacy Summit happening March 31st – April 2nd in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Young Black Gay Men’s Leadership Initiative (YBGLI) offers attendees the opportunity to learn about issues affecting young Black gay, bisexual, and same gender loving men from respected experts in a diversity of fields, including health, research, policy, advocacy, community mobilization, and communications.

The program has had amazing outcomes including the launch of National Youth HIV/AIDS Awareness Day and an invitation to the White House for President Barack Obama’s initiative ‘My Brother’s Keeper‘.

There is no cost for the summit.
