Principal Tells Gay Teen ‘You Shouldn’t Come Back Here’ After Suspending Him for Wearing Heels

Our good judy, 17-year-old Asante Cotman, decided to jazz up the everyday khaki and white-collared shirt with a leopard-print scarf, matching bag, and a sickening nude pump. The only openly gay student at Charles City High in Virginia said he’s known for sashaying away with a sickening purse all the time so he doesn’t know why the principal wants to halt his fashion show.

“[She was] talking to me in a manner, like, belittling me. ‘Oh, you shouldn’t come back here. Oh, we would be glad if you didn’t come back here. Everybody would be happy.’ That comment really got to me. I was almost done. I feel like I was about to kill myself. I was almost done.”

In a meeting with his parents, the school board asked Cotman and his mom to stop the news story from airing but he’s not having it.

Did the school have the right to suspend him?

    This story makes me sick. If he wants to wear heels to class then let him do it. And that superintendent knows DAMN well hot ass girls walk around those halls everyday with heels so she needs NOT to act like all of a sudden she has to “check what the handbook says” about heels. The principle and that school district can have SEVERAL seats!
