Your fave has weeped for decades since deep vocal diva Toni Braxton debuted her lower register back in ’93. After the success of her ballad-heavy album ‘Pulse‘ she’s back to conquer the dance scene with her new single ‘I Heart You.’ Toni had to viciously break her sisters hearts because they’ve been begging for a family album to follow the success of their show Braxton Family Values. So, let’s hope the man she’s chasing in this song is worth it.
I love it! The way classic Toni opens the song before the beat transcends into gay club heaven… AMAZING! And to think, Toni wrote and produced this song herself. I live for how Auntie Toni has proven she can keep up with the current trends in music. I’d be a fool though if I didn’t acknowledge I don’t see Toni’s middle-aged, straight woman fan base jammin’ to this. So, let’s hope there’s a few radio friendly R&B jams on the album when it drops in May. But, until then … “I think I wanna DANCE!”
