Moments ago the famous Memorial Day Weekend vacation announced its move due to COVID-19 via e-mail to patrons:
MIAMI FLORIDA, Monday April 20st 2020 – Here at Sizzle Miami, we hope that you and your loved ones are well as we combat the COVID-19 virus that’s having a devastating impact on all our lives. We last communicated with you on March 31st, and would have liked to have communicated with you sooner, but until now, we had nothing new to share as it related to Sizzle 2020. Thanks for hanging in there, we appreciate your patience.
In that update, we informed you that the event is being postponed to a date later in the year. At that time, State and Federal safety regulations were changing by the minute making it difficult for us to nail down a new date for the event. While some have suggested that we simply cancel, an overwhelming majority of you insists that the event be rescheduled for a date later in the year providing that State and Local official gives the green light to do so. Although we don’t have a green light, directives issues by the Federal Government last week has made the outlook of a return to “normalcy” a little clearer with the announcement that the US will begin to reopen in phases. (See Link Below). Therefore, should large groups be allowed to convene by Labor Day Weekend, Sizzle 2020 will be held Thursday September 3rd Monday September 7th, 2020.
Looking ahead, over the next few weeks and months, we will continue to pay close attention to and follow directives from State and Local officials as it pertains to the virus here in South Florida. Ensuring the health and safety and of all attendees during the COVID-19 pandemic remains our most important objective and priority.
As for ticket and package holders, please check your email. We’re not booking rooms or selling tickets at this time. Add your email address below or check back for updates here at sizzlemiami.com / Our host hotel is currently closed so please direct al questions to us at email@example.com
