They say all press is good press. So, here goes.
Andrea Kelly is busy promoting her gig on Hollywood Exes thanks to R. Kelly making her relevant. And, Kells is promoting his album Write Me Back that hit stores last week. While chatting about another upcoming project, his memoir Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me, R. Kelly had this to say:
“As the film credits started to roll, I couldn’t move. I burst into tears. People walking past me patted me on the back, trying to console me. ‘The Notebook’ was beautiful, and I was crying because its hero and heroine had died together,” the 45-year-old writes in the memoir. “But I was also crying because I remembered a Valentine’s Day — when a helicopter dropped a rainfall of roses — that had come and gone … My marriage had died. And there was nothing I could do to bring it back.” (source)
R. Kelly and Andrea were married for 12 years before divorcing in 2009. Rumor has it Andrea was not comfy dropping her choreographer jobs and being a house mother. Plus, there were instances of domestic abuse.
People are wondering if R. Kelly’s moment of truth is the truth and to that I say – who in their right mind would spend so much time coming up with such an elaborate lie?
What do you think of R. Kelly’s epiphany?
