#InfernoDR attendees are still twerkin’ by their bank accounts waiting for Worldwide Travel to refund their monies. As if leaving them stranded in the Dominican Republic alone wasn’t enough, Worldwide is now hassling people who call telling them the time has come to lip sync for their life.
“I tried to work with Will and his travel agency,” says Landis Osborne. “I waited the 4 to 6 weeks as requested after our initial conversation and agreement. I heard nothing from them and it’s the 7th week. Therefore, I called my credit card company and filed a claim. Two days later I get a email from Worldwide Travel stating basically that I’m trying to double dip. I explained I gave you the allotted time you requested plus 1 week to make good on my refund and I heard nothing from you until I filed a dispute with my credit card.”
Another attendee says a Worldwide rep told them the 4-6 weeks processing time didn’t start from the day they originally spoke with them… but the day the company talked to the last person wanting a refund?
