The gays and gals are gay galore to see who will take on the role of Rachel Marron made famous by gay icon Whitney Houston in ‘The Bodyguard’ musical in London next month.

Word on the curb is Heather Headley is in rehearsals s-l-a-y-i-n-g all the hits from the movie including “Run to You”, “Saving All My Love” and “I Will Always Love You.”

Is Heather the girl to take on such a role? Well, let’s not forget the Grammy-award winning singer has a Tony award for her work with ‘Aida’ and owns the crown as the original Nala in the stage production of ‘The Lion King.’

I’m crossing my fingers in hope they bring the production to America so we too can be blessed with it’s amazingness.

    Honestly it’s kind of hard for me to picture Heather as Whitney, but at least they are considering someone who can actually sing the vocals. AND at least it’s not Thandie Newton or Halle Berry
